Change oil on side stand?

Hey guys. Unlike most bikes, the owner's manual for this one says to stand it upright during the oil change, probably for better draining of this unusual but masterful engine configuration. Anyway, do you guys do it on a rear stand, front stand or side stand? I'm guessing best drain would be on the rear,.

 

I use the centre stand fitted to the bike.

 

Yeah, unfortunately I did not get the DLX model and don't have the centerstand accessory

I went ahead and bought the Pit Bull stand, I suppose I'll just wait for that to arrive to change the oil

 

i don't think it makes any difference draining oil on centerstand or sidestand. Honda, on all the bikes i can remember, puts the drain plug in a low position to drain best on the sidestand.
