fotomoto: Since it sounds like you have "been there done that" I have another question to ask you. There isnt anything special about a hi-mount is there? Other than the fact that it is mounted higher and mounts to the frame or a difffernt type of bracket???

I bought the following for $120 shipped and it is brand new: "GPR stainless steel silencers are very durable, very strong, very easy to keep clean and it looks great! GPR silencers are made from 304 stainless alloy, and because of the strength of the alloy, they are constructed with a thin and light casing that keeps weight lower than most aluminum silencers, but much stronger and longer lasting.Stainless has a better appearance, is much harder to mark or scratch and cleans with a damp cloth. Also better at surviving crashes than aluminum. retail price $320.00 Made in Italy.

These are killer cans with a great throaty sound. You can not go wrong at this price.

These are replacement slip on mufflers. They have a 2" intake opening where S-pipe fits. The length is 20 1/4" from end to end. They are oval with hangers. There are two welded loops at the S-pipe end for the use of springs."

Hi-mount just shows off the open wheel better. The GPR's sound like they are a nice item (pun intended) but pics are needed.

Remus is making them again, and Star Cycle has them in low mount, high mount, and a choice of cans. They range from $243 to $405 although the cheaper ones may need a connector
