01 5th Gen Project

Having been without a bike for a few years I was pretty stoked to back. In a deal too good to refuse I ended up with this white 01 VFR which the previous owner had dropped a couple times and it definitely has some road rash, plastics don't match etc. I'm no pro by any means but I am patient and so far I think this is turning out decently well!

 

As arrived in driveway

 

Tear down, repairs, cleaning, and 2 days of my life sanding...

 

But when the paint and clear coats start going on its totally worth it!

 

I have yet to hit the tank and rear plastics but the difference between the old and new is very satisfying. Now to find a few of those hex bolts for the plastics...

 

Nice! To me, the VFR always seems to look good in white.
