    VFR2.jpg Hello All.
I would like to use following ,and have pretty good idea about previous posts in this forum, I would like to hear what did you use and how you like about following:
    I have a RED 2014 VFR 800 F non-ABS non-Deluxe:
    1- Handle bar raiser
    2- No-cut Frame slider
    3-GPS mount
    4-12 V cigarette lighter
5-taller windshield for better wind protection
6- hard saddle bags(OEM or aftermarket)
7- I am going to use OEM Honda center stand
    Any other recommendations?
    Thank you
    Ride safe/Ride long

    1. MotoPumps risers (member here)

    6. OEM saddle bags (came with bike)

    7. Stock center stand-Deluxe came with bike (look for thread on installing - comes as a kit and hard to find)

Other: Knight Designs lowering foot pegs

I should get sliders, don’t need GPS mount, don’t smoke, don’t have a problem with wind noise

Mine has the Moto Pumps bar risers, genuine Honda tire hugger, and I installed the OEM centerstand myself. The centerstand kits are unobtanium, but you can buy all the parts individually. I personally would like to add the OEM panniers, but they're on my radar for next year.

On my 6 Gen (2009) I did the following: (This is my commuter/tourer)
    Heli-bars
    Pro Grip 719 Gel grips
    ASV shorty brake/clutch levers
    Sargent Seat
    MRA Vario windscreen
Givi Tanklock bag (various size bags)
    Givi Top Case (55 liter)
    Cycle Guy tail bag
Two Brothers slip on (Came on the bike, I bought it used)
98-99 VFR cat-less Headers (Ceramic coated)
    Rapid Bike tuning module
PAIR removal (Primarily due to use of RB with auto tune)
    Piper-Cross air filter
    8 Spoke rear wheel
    HEL stainless steel brake lines
    DMr suspension upgrade
    Sebspeed Customs clear clutch cover
Ram Mount phone holder, Radar Mount and camera mounts
2 "generic flash light" cameras, one facing front one facing rearward.
    Rowe Electronics PDM60 power controller.
    Volt meter

That's all I can think of off the top of my head but there might be a mod or two I left out. That being said, I think I'm done with the 6 Gen other than a MOSFET RR, now on to my 5 Gen.

For my 5 Gen (2001), here's where I'm at currently. (This is my sport/track bike)
    Pro Grip 719 Gel grips
    ASV shorty brake/clutch levers
    Zero Gravity windscreen
Givi Tanklock bag (various size bags)
    Cycle Guy tail bag
Two Brothers slip on (High mount carbon fiber)
98-99 VFR cat-less Headers (Ceramic coated)
    Rapid Bike tuning module
PAIR removal (Primarily due to use of RB with auto tune)
    Piper-Cross air filter
    8 Spoke rear wheel
    HEL stainless steel brake lines
    DMr suspension upgrade
2 Innovv C5 cameras, one facing front one facing rearward.
    Rowe Electronics PDM60 power controller.
    Volt meter
    Shindengen FH020AA Regulator/Rectifier
Sebspeed Customs CBR929/945 rearset adapters (in process of installing)
Generic Chinese CBR 929/954 adjustable rearsets.

Out of all the mods I did to both bikes, the number 1 mod that gave me the most ROI was suspension. If I could only do 1 mod, this would be it.

I have all of that and then some all great stuff but my most favorite is the sound bomb slip unit from Denali. It’s an air horn and I must say people in cars do hear it. I’ve had many time where I’m in my lane on a highway and cars try to merge (cut me off) into my lane because they don’t see me but they hear me and get back in they’re lane
My other favorite is my tank bag. Locks in to gas cap with an attachment. And my other fav is the cell phone holder that bolts onto brake reservoir . [IMG]

The Honda luggage is great. The centerstand is supremely useful. Both will cost more than you think they should, but are worth the money.

I have found the bar risers and the power socket useful as well.

You might want to consider the Honda heated grips if you ride in the cold. They make a HUGE difference.

I also forgot the Quick-shifter, on the bike when I got it. Fantastic.

I also added a TailTidy made by one of our members, cleaned up the looks.

The final piece of body work was the passenger seat cover, which was supposed to come the bike when new.

Do you have a link for this? Lightly scuffed my headlight unit that I've just replaced on my VFR after a low speed spill. The MSRP of $1327 (fortunately paid $875 from Partzilla) is something to stomach. As an ex-Essex boy myself, I'm curious what part of Essex you come from?

    Here you are. https://www.pyramid-plastics.co.uk/...014+>+Clear+Headlight+Cover&partNumber=091908
It seemed to me that £20-something for these versus over a grand for the quad LED light unit was a bit of a no-brainer in the case of a flying stone or something!
I'm a North London boy but now live in the village of Little Waltham, just north of the ever-expanding City of Chelmsford.

They attach with sticky pads, not like velcro because both sides are the same, they have little plastic 'mushrooms' that interlock. They hold very firm, they've been on mine nearly two years with no problems.
