Conrod bearing purchase source

I need to purchase conrod bearings as my bikes oli pressure drops drastically after it heats up

Only source I was able to find is www.cmsnl.com but I do not see them having all the sizes.

Maybe someone knows where to purchase them. Any tips appreciated.

 

Are you sure it's the conrod bearings and not the oil pump itself?

 

I have also found big chunks of gold metal flakes in the oil pan, not good That is the materials these bearings are made of.

how many miles on the bike ??

you need to check for engine case stampings that tell the bearing color codes for that engine--if you have them. if not you'll need to meaSure the crank to find which color bearings you need.

sadly, i doubt any are available, and it may be time to retire the bike to pasture.

According to this thread you can make ZZR1400 bearings to work so I stay positve

 

trying to resurrect a worn out engine may be more expensive than finding another bike. lots of parts would need replacing, most NLA.

IF your conrod bearings are shot, most likely main bearings are too and you'd want a new oil pump as well.

any cam pitting problems ?

 

That is what I thought aswell. One cam is pited, not too bad though. Timing chain is gone aswell. I have to many projects so for now this is on hold. I will get back to this in the winter
