I also just bought a new-to-me 2010 VFR1200F, but not the DCT. I think the DCT is an outstanding bit of technology, and I think Honda has absolutely nailed it on this machine. I'd like to get your take on it after you've put some miles on it.
I can tell you already that the DCT is awesome. I have it on my 2014 Honda CTX700 that I bought new in '13. I've racked 17,000 miles up so far on the CTX and it has been problem free. We also have a DN-01 that the girlfriend drives when she doesn't feel like riding passenger. Also trouble free so far.
