New perfect condition fourth gen!

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've been on the site. Good to be back.
My fifth gen is still amazing! I still have her and I keep her clean and happy. Lol
Today I picked up a show room perfect fourth gen! It's awesome! 11,600 miles and it's been kept perfect by a collector of awesome bikes. There was no way I could pass on this bike. I'm super excited about it! The ride home was great! It runs perfect.
The only modification is a stayintune slip- on exhaust. It sounds perfect! I also have the stock can in the the stayintune box. It also came with a brand new k&n filter that's not installed. I probably throw that on later.

Sfdownhill, between me and the previous owner this is a very happy bike. Lol
I'm definitely planning on keeping it clean and taking care of it. The only thing I think I'm going to do to it is upgrade the brakes with braided lines, new pads and rotors. I'm even going to get black lines to keep it looking stock.

I took her out today and rode her around for a few hours! Holy crap what an amazing machine! I feel like it's a lot quicker and more rev happy than the fifth gen. Also it handles way better! I can get real low in the turns and it just feels like it's on rails. Nice and solid and stable. My fifth gen gets kinda squirrelly on me when I push it in the turns.
I really did not expect this kind of performance from the fourth gen bike. I think it feels like a sports bike, and not a sport touring bike like the fifth gen. I really did not think it would ride like this, I thought it was gonna feel heavy and slow. I'm over the freaking moon happy with this little fourth gen bike!!

 

Took Red out today! Tried to get a pic of the two VFRs. That fourth gen is one of the greatest bikes I've ever ridden. So smooth and powerful, and handles like a dream. I think I want to buy another one!
