LOL, too true. I've never directly driven the computer at O'reilly's, but I've been the back seat driver many times...

 

Happen here too.

 

Yeah. I quit riding with those boneheads.

 

It's me.

 

I've told myself many times in the past, "Just gonna take the viffer out for a nice chill, easy ride to get my head straight."

Once I arrive at the first corner, it usually turns to, "Fuck it, its on like donkey kong..."

 

Hmm. I usually chill when I am out of my home state.
Don't want to meet the local constables.

Around home I guess I have an idea what to expect if I get pulled over by the CHP, LAPD, or LA or Ventura County sheriffs.
OK, I'm not a hooligan. Usually.

 

We all have different levels that we chill at.
When I hit that corner slowing down the least, nail the apex and power out smoothly lightly lifting the front wheel, that's when I'm at my chill maximum.
Others prefer riding like an old lady on an electric scooter loaded with shopping, to each their own.
My riding group takes the first bit of twisties before we start to separate into those that ride hard, and those that dawdle.
We still all get together again at regular intervals, or we get there first and order the coffee for all at the stops.
Riding in a group is more fun the riding alone.

Now I need to get new rear rubber so I can chill out even more.

 

I agree with you. When I was riding the track, it was zen. Knee on the ground, is the most relaxed I felt riding in a while.
