I think that dealers are figuring out that now that production has stopped that the deals should be less than instead of greater than. Especially for the Deluxe in the states which are the standard in Europe. I posted a while ago about parts. Some one said that that should not be an issue for the 8th gen. I see it becoming one in a year or two. But I hope not. I was hoping for discounted parts but seeing that the demand may be higher with them not being produced as well, but that may never occur.

 

Bubba most manufacturers make parts available for up to 10 years after production, so I would not worry too much.

 

Be a good start to put a set of USD forks and quality rear shock on, sell the originals and put a set of Brembo on too

Bubba ....what parts in particular?

It's not as if there's a shed load of consumables on the bike that can't be sourced from the supplier ...bearings, etc ...there's already a few 8th gens being broken so fairing panels are not hard to come by
