I escaped out for the day. Covered 250 miles relatively clear roads, some still covered in the winter gravel. Crossed over the Atlantic as well.

 

I have my moments.

 

Bike is up and running again. Did a session to confirm it's all good.

What rear shock are you running Lint?

 

The stock one. And the bike has over 82,000 miles.

 

Too bad I didn’t have a DMr shock to add to the stuff I brought you huh?! Glad you got everything back together. I would have liked to stay and help you but my duty as a son called.

Surprised my mom by showing up today and then we went to see my dad at the hospital. He has another surgery scheduled for Monday, so crossing my fingers it all goes well. Glad I rode the 6 Gen today, as the traffic going and returning was a bit congested, nothing a little lane splitting didn’t overcome though.

 

D hope your Dad comes through his surgery with no complications bud.

After a thorough front to rear spring cleaning on the bike, The wife and I took her out. Went up A1A to Fernandina Beach. Beautiful day for a ride and people watching. Took the ferry on the way home.

 

Well, today was the first ride of the year - the screwy weather has me WAY behind schedule.

The missus wanted to come with me, so we bundled her up and put my spare jacket on her because her jacket wouldn't fit with the layers she had to wear underneath.

It was sunny, 2*C (35*F) and dry roads ... last year this time, it was 20*C (68*F). Ugh!

Also inserted the Decibel Killer that RVFR sent my way, Thanks RVFR!!! It is noticably quieter.

 

Hope the best for your dad! Mine is having some heart issues (A-fib I think and 77) and waiting to see a specialist. It's about the family!
