help 750 engine

    i have a vfr 750 1990, at tickover it goes on and of on one cylinder,no 4 ie front rh ,check for spark, ok, but the plug is wet.Over 2000 rpm it fires on all 4. I have only had the bike for a week it had spent the last 5 years in a shed,eanyone eany ideas?

    Carbs need a good cleaning (removal). You could cross your fingers and add Seafoam to the tank but that's asking a lot of it.

    Also clean all plugs as they could be wet fouled due to the leaky carbs.

    yep sounds like a carb issue. look for cracked & broken hoses too.

    Leaking float valve needle. The rubber tips get a permanent groove in them and then won't seal. See if your oil smells like gas...
