New To The Sport - Virginia

Just got my first Bike and after doing alot of looking, decided on an 07 VFR w ABS. Havin a blast on it so far. Anyone out there near Richmond VA?

I'm about two hours north of you in MD. I have an 07 as well, but got two additional colors ;-) Perhaps we can collect folks along the way to skyline drive for a fall ride?

 

Sounds good. Gettin some warmer gear so should be ready soon. Have a Rocket (intercepter) jacket with the zip-outs and all....any suggestions on pants? Pull Overs or what?

it runs along the peaks of the Shennandoah Mountains through a National Park, lots of overlooks. Speed limit can be very strict, but the view is nice and the road twists and turns as one would expect. But, getting there and back can be fun.

 

Two Years this this month. Get up to the Baltimore/DC Area every couple months for work. Let me know if you want to put something together. I have a trailer and can drag the bike up to a good starting point. I'm in.

 

I'm near Williamsburg. Try the Scotland ferry from Jamestown to the southside - lots of open county roads with little traffic, and the old dominion at its best. The Colonial Parkway in fall is great.
