VFRD Where did it go?

Went to brand 'X' site And a window says "provider has suspended this page" ? Anyone know what is going on?

 

The members didn't buy enough calenders to support the site?

There may be more VFRWORLD 2018 calenders available if you want to keep this site up and running.

It has gone to a straight '404' error now. I hope it comes back, I just donated this week.

I tried accessing it in my phone. I was given this instead. I know I can create an exception, but they must still be working on it.

 

Friday bump, VFRD looks to be down again...

 

I have not seen it up since about when this thread started.

 

They posted on Facebook that it was down because if fixing their security certificates.

 

From what I read it has to do with the security certificates from some company are not being accepted and sites are going down because of that.
Somebody pissing in someone else's cornflakes. Looks like a big power play from the big tech companies.

The complete answer is stated in a thread or two in the forum. The owner and main mod (Baileyrock) have stated in so many words that they've just lost the love of VFRD. Thus, it's gone downhill compared to what it used to be. The "inmates" have taken it over and it's become a "not as fun" place to go, learn, and socialize. It is a shame.

 

Getting a bit like this place on some threads.

 

You should see the "MacRumors" Forum, all kinds of haters.
