Haha. I never heard why he did not want a pickle before.
Just assumed he hated pickles, like me.

 

Also Satriani. I just wanna ride. That guy can play!

 

Song isn't just about motorcycles but in one part, he's running from da cops on a "custom built bike doing 103" (which I kinda laugh at every time I hear those lyrics - 103? I've had fevers higher than that... hahaha)



Duccmann, I wonder if MC got the idea for the guitar mimicking a motor running through gear changes from Montrose?

 

Didn't they tell you to not eat those little paper squares with the red dragons on them? Psychodelic.

I prefer the Montrose tune. Just my pref.

 

Yeah, I remember Sammy Hagar came and sat down on the edge of the stage with a lap steel when he played that one. Post Montrose but still was pretty cool.

Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf.

My older brother was an HD rider and very much into the lifestyle. Back in the 70's he rode with an outlaw club. The club was hired to do security at a Steppenwolf concert in Chicago. (Because if you don't want trouble, you hire a motorcycle gang???) After the concert, the club invited the band to party back at the clubhouse. My brother had the key to the clubhouse, but was late getting back because he was totally drunk. John Kay and the band were waiting for him as he pulled up on his Harley and he dumped it in front of everyone. He stood up and pulled an unbroken bottle of Wild Turkey out of his jacket and every cheered. I wasn't there, but that's the story I've been told. My brother, now long gone, was a major influence on me as far as motorcycle riding, and the main reason I have a Honda, and not a Harley.

 

I think that girl with the glasses was getting off.

 

I am not normally a huge Country fan but when this one comes on the head set when I am riding, it really puts me in that zone while out on the highway on one of my several long tours.

My first motorcycle trip on my new VF750 to Monterey then to Oregon we didn’t have Bluetooth just a portable CD player and had his CD.
I came up with about 20-30 different versus of that song I could not get it out of my freekin head the entire trip.

Nice for the wide open highways of the Canadian Prairies. You gotta have music there becasue there is nothing else there but you, your bike and big fukken bugs. Thank God for full faced helmets. Otherwise you would need an athletic tooth guard. Grasshoppers of Saskatchewan will knock your teeth out.
