    I have a 2005 VFR: http://vfrworld.com/threads/returning-member-2005-vfr800a.54481

The previous owner installed a Power Commander and removed the snorkel but gave it to me when he sold the bike. My understanding is that this might rob me of some torque.
    1. Should I put the snorkel back in?
    2. If I do, should I also remap the Power Commander?

I had removed the snorkel and found that it really didn't do anything but increase intake noise. At the time I also had a Power Commander and it didn't really make a difference to it. I now have both the snorkel and air box flapper in place.

Nothing wrong with some evil, bloodcurdling intake music. :Bounce:

I've done lots of mods to my bike, most to improve it.
I've reinstalled the snorkel as I found it made no difference except noise, and making it easier for water getting in there.
