Issue and I am not sure when tis started just noticed it on the last trip with the wife.
When either turn signal is turned on and flashing the opposite signal also flashes but very dim and at the same time. A new gremlin where to start tracking this one down.

Is it a grounding issue? If so where to start looking?

Is it a hand control switch issue?

    Any thoughts?

A couple of other notes: Front only. No issues on the rear or dash.

normally is a ground issue with weak erratic lights, Front only, then only half the circuit to check. Start at easiest accessible place and work to other end.

Yep talking with others that seems to be the consensus. Now it is just a matter of time to get to work on it. Thanks

Mine has developed this too. I will get to it eventually. I suppose with the shit I rode in for many years, grounding issues were bound to surface.

+1 on Grounding issue. As the impact is appearing on the other side of the bike - it suggests you focus on the switchgear (where both circuits meet-up) May need to remove and open up the switchgear and thoroughly clear any corrosion on the contacts. Then check for corrosion around the lighting circuit earth points - a dab of Vaseline (or electrical contact grease if you can find it) will help keep corrosion from returning.

    This may help...

Good luck - Let us know how you get on.

Actually the switch is where I am going to start. I have found this an area of issue on other bikes too. Plus it is easy to get to. And thanks for the schematics.
