99 vfr...got a sound bite?

    You're right, process of elimination.

    First thing I did was check all 4 plugs...they were obviously changed recently being nearly spotless and the electrodes were quite sharp. Gap was spot on.

    The air filter...needs replacement. I'll order one tomorrow.

    I still think something is missing or not firing right. Last night I went for a ride and in 5th gear, 4500 rpm I yanked open the throttle and...not much happened. I got better results cracking half throttle than full open. It also vibrates with load like a cylinder is out, but is smooth as glass otherwise.

    Already did the Seafoam thing, both gas tank and intake. Hooee that thing smoked for two days!

    check the connectors on the coils. Each one has two wires connected to them. I found one loose on one of mine.

    I turned my bike in to the shop today. Should know within a week what the deal is, if anything.
