    Hi folks,

Weird, I can't log in on Google Chrome. I opened this up in Internet Explorer and was able to login here. Then I went back to Chrome and it shows that I am online in the right sidebar of the home page. BUT, I can't post or start a new thread.

I NEVER have this kind of trouble with Chrome. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Glenn

I can log in on chrome, but it logs me back out within a few minutes. It's really annoying as I usually just leave it open all week at work. Now I am having to basically log in every time I want to comment and the login button is like a hidden Easter egg now.

Everyone else seems to have had success by clearing out their old cookies cache, then closing and re-opening their browser. We swapped from http to https, and then back to http, so those old cookies must be cleared.

Thanks for the tip, Jason. I tried what you said. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I still can't login on Chrome.. I think it's been like this for a week or two. I just thought traffic was slow since I wasn't seeing any indication of new posts. Then I discovered I wasn't logged in. All my other forums - in fact - everything - are still working fine in Chrome, so I think VFRWorld must have some sort of Chrome bug. I'm posting this from IE, but I don't like IE and never use it.

    Cheers,
    Glenn

Weird. I have no issues with chrome or I.E.

I wonder if your browser settings have changed and you need to allow it to "accept" cookies again?

I feel terrible for you members who are having issues.

I'm being selfish too and keeping all my cookies to myself.
It's the only kind I can eat anyhoos teeheehee :) But I've read that clearing them works for some peeps.

I'm running latest version of Chrome on mobile Android, latest version of Chrome on Windows 10, and prolly the oldest version of Chrome on *gasp* Windows Vista *gasp*. No issues.

Maybe the solution is you all revert back to unsupported Chrome on Vista?

    Hi everyone,
I had this problem in both of my Samsung devices, a S7 and a tablet. The solution for me, as recommended by Reg, was to open VFRW in chrome, scroll to the bottom, switch the theme to Light, login, then switch back to Dark. I haven't had any issues since.

As both of my devices are Android, I don't notice any issues with anything else, I use Firefox on my PC.

Well, i figured out why I had an issue staying logged in.

The issue was I logged in on vfrworld.com sans the www. All fine and good unless you click a link that has www, then it considered me logged out.

Solution? Go to the login page on both www and non, and login/save credentials. I've been logged in since.

    http://www.vfrworld.com/login/
    http://vfrworld.com/login/

Sounds like there's a mismatch somewhere in the config for the domain settings. /shrug All well and fine now so I'm not concerned.

Woohoo! ^^^^^^^^THIS is what worked.^^^^^^^^^^ I can only login with the "www" address, though. I still can't login without the "www". Anyway, I'm back in. Thanks thtanner.

Lint, I tried your solution with the light vs dark. It didn't work for me, but I using a Windows 8.1 laptop.

Anne-Marie, thank you anyway for even thinking of sharing your cookies. I'm too old for hash brownies :) .

    Cheers,
    Glenn
