Like all have said welcome to the "insane asylum" in the 8th gen and others. Have a good sense of humor. Don't take anything personal and enjoy!

I don't know if you are interested in the bar risers that most of us have that are great and come in three sizes. Do not buy the O.E.M .4" risers that are costly. Delkevlic was my go to with the stubby 8" and with baffle in has a great sound and gurgle down shifting. I have the F model so you already have the center stand and the plus or minus traction control and the heated grips.

I just bought the VFR T-Rex sliders to put on, With the white you may or may not look at some wheel decals. I think the white with the gold/copper looks great and not needed. Get the tail tidy and please be patient and read the instruction or you will be frustrated as hell or that is just me. Shit the list is endless and just keep looking at the threads for anything else some of us have done or will do that interests you! Here is a couple of photos of mine with the pipe, decals and risers. IMG_0131.JPG
This shows the pipe and if you look closely you can see the 1.25" risers that I forget who on the site made and work wonderful.

Obviously with this one, the wheel decals and again the bar risers. The T-rex frame sliders and again another attempt on the tidy tail that I f...ed up by not reading the direction will be attempted Sunday. ;-) P.S. The T-Rex slider "VFR" logoed are on ebay for $139.00 good deal get some soon if you plan to. But get some white paint since the logo is in red!

Just throwing this out there: I love the stock exhaust. The peace and quiet has made motorcycling much more relaxing. The engine makes more than enough noise in the VTEC zone to satisfy. I do have that high mount staintune to put on but I'm not sure I ever will. I do like the 2017+ new stock exhausts though..

Thanks for all the tips man, and yeah I have the deluxe version of the VFR. And I don't quite know if I want risers yet or not. I'm doing a 2,000km trip in a few weeks and I'm going to see how I feel. And for exhaust I might leave it stock, however if I change my mind I'll probably go with the Two Brothers S14 It sounds deadly. And your pictures wouldn't load. :(

Yeah I'm thinking the S1R Two Bros. IF I want to change my exhaust. I love the stock because I can hear that beautiful engine quite well.

Yep. The whole saga is covered in a thread on here somewhere, but even though it was recovered, the thief did so much damage the insurance company just totalled it.

I don't have a VFR anymore, but this and the "other" forum are the only ones I've actually met up and rode with other members, so I just hung around after the loss.

Speaking of a meet up and ride, hmm...

Thanks, it does suck to have your bike stolen, I loved my Pearl White VFR, but in my case it worked out because the new bike is the best bike I've ever swung a leg over, even if it isn't as pretty.

The white looks really nice. It's stealthy, unlike the look at me red!

    Congrats on the new bike!

I'm assuming you're around Medicine Hat based on the pic so considering you live in a flatter part of Canada like me (not quite as flat as Manitoba), you're going to spend a fair amount of time on straight highways so I'd strongly recommend getting a set of risers - you won't regret it.

I started off with the Honda .6" and ended up getting the Motopumps .95" risers which takes enough pressure off my wrists for those long rides but is still sporty enough for around the city.

I keep a keen eye on our local market, so if I see anything I'll let you know.

The biggest issue is most of the 14-15 VFRs in Cali were bought back by Honda, then auctioned to dealers in bulk. 3-4 dealers in the state bought most of the stock.

Not a great deal, but the only new DLX I have seen in our area. On CL San Francisco.
