2015 vfr800 deluxe, good price?

I'm looking at new 2015 vfr800 deluxe red. I was quoted a price of $12,5XX.XX OTD. Seems a little high to me since it is 2 years old. What are your thoughts on the price?

 

Very HIGH! Don't do it! Look at the dealers in Wisconsin. Try Cycle Trader! Do not buy a 2015 at 12,500. You may even find a 2014 which is the same besides color offers around 7500-8500 in the deluxe. If you don't need heated grips, traction control or a center stand that you can buy for less than $100 you can get a VFR800F for under $7500. Where are you located at?

F version but 2 mile on it. I paid this for mine. If you are looking for the Deluxe it appears as that the market is trending up due to us buying up cheap 2014s that did not sale. Now dealers are adjusting prices for the demand.

The land of Wisconsin it the meca of VFRS they bought up all of the left over inventory for the most part and are selling them just slightly above cost! They have a cooperation of dealers and do and do not work independently for the most part. They have a HUGE buying power and can get us a really good deal on the 2014-2015 VFRs! The only reason that I did not buy from them was dealer to dealer stipulations as far as needing to be one site to buy, and others not willing to ship. All claim Honda rules. which is bullshit. I tried using Honda financing and was pre approved and they still had issues. Dealer to Dealer will give you tounge and mouth about what they will do. just be prepared to argue about shipping or being onsite to make the deal.

 

$8500 otd for a base model in ny. There are dealers whom post ridiculous low prices and omit the dealer and bullshit fees. The ones in Wisconsin appear to have best prices and inventory
