Phoenix , Globe, Tucson loop...anyone?

I'm new here so I don't know any of you guys yet, but if anyone is interested in making a Phoenix, Globe, Tucson ride... let's do it. I'm in Tucson, but I can meet up pretty much anywhere.

I'm Phil with a white '06 VFR up in Oro Valley.
Short Tucson fun for me is Picture Rocks → Gates Pass to include my favorite McCain Loop. Or Mt. Lemmon, of course.
But occasionally, I like to stretch her legs with a run up to Winkleman, → Superior → Globe ...and back.
I juts did a 2500 mile AZ-UT tour ...twas epic! ;-)
Hit my email properaz@gmail ...would be fun to hook up sometime. (but it's gettin friggin hot lately)

 

RightOn. I put you email in my list. Being on the east side. It's usually Old Spanish trail out through Vail and Patagonia. And yes Mt. Lemon is always good. Ive been up there when it was hot as heck on the desert floor and 1/2 way up my hands feel frozen. LOL

Hey, That be awesome. What part of Phoenix are in? Hopefully we can get through these 120° days! Lets keep in touch , let me know about any Bike meets up there. And work out a time to ride Mt. Lemon. It's weird, I've gone up when it was like 107° on the Valley floor and 1/2 way up, you're cold.

How about the weekend of July 14-16.
It would be challenging to find camping in the park but there is dispersed camping just outside of the East entrance.
If this is too soon, how about a RT191 run and fins a place to camp out up north? We can rendezvous in Sothern AZ. on Saturday.

Who's up for that?

 

Sorry all, I'm out of town until next Monday. That weekend wouldn't work for me. Besides, my side cases are in pieces right now getting ready for repaint! Maybe in August sometime?

Proper (me, Phil) and Watto are thinking of trying an early morning run on August 5th from Tucson to Scottsdale to get to Cars and Coffee by 7AM. This run will be highly dependent on the weather forecast the night before. Check FB - ... https://www.scuderiasouthwest.com/motorsports-gathering/
It's first Saturdays, and is supposed to be really good. If we don't do it August, we'll try again in October. Watto and I met up for the Tucson C&C last month.
