Nice guards! What material and how thick?

Also, what Aux lights are those?

Not sure how thick exactly...about as thick as the windscreen. They work really good when I run in the cold and are amazing in the rain. I feel this bike has zero wind protection on the legs and wished they made wind deflectors for the legs as well. I rode about 985 Kms on Sunday about half of it in the rain with cooler temps and only my legs were cold.

The lights are Clearwater Darla Lights. They are a bit pricey but are good quality and work really well. I can change the colour from amber to clear in about 30 seconds.

Just hit the 'insert image' button and choose 'from computer' and 'select files'. Under the 'quick reply' box, you can hit 'go advanced' to see the most posting options, including the 'preview post' button. Also, keep in mind that all suggestions I make are based on using the full site on a desktop or laptop.

Sparky, Nope that was not me. I have not traveled outside of Utah this year yet. We have a Cyclegear here in Salt Lake, but I did not know that they host ride nights. Thanks for the advice on the pictures. I will try that tonight. Thanks

The top case is a Givi E52 and you need the Givi mounting plate. I move the top case back and fourth between my 955 Sprint and the VFR.

Sadly, my VFR is no longer, but I love this picture from before she was stolen.

I had a trunk and bags on my CTX1300 but could not see having such a large trunk on this bike, plus the way honda makes them, the mounting structure adds about 15 pounds , way over kill for a trunk that only holds 15 pounds supposedly. So I opted for this ventura system. It's quite easy to remove the bag and or rack and only 4 bolts and 2 little screws to remove the brackets. The bag acts as a back pack as well, holds 51 liters and you can zip another bag to it to add about another 35 liters. I got lucky, I ordered just the "L" brackets from amazon as they had them there for like $90 and they are $120 on venturas web site and then was going to order the bag holder piece and just use my kuryakn tail bag on it. To my surprise amazon sent me a box with everything, including the bag they charge $195 for so I'm going to use it . You can mount the bracket either front or rear , I chose rear so getting on and off the bike is easy. They say you are supposed to mount forward but I'm not carrying bowling balls in it and I do have TC LOL. Just thought I'd share. bags2.JPG bags.JPG

It's mounted with two fairing bolts and a piece of velcro.
