Condolences to the members here from Manchester area. It was a little less than a year ago when Orlando got hit by a similar terrorist nut-job so I can somewhat relate to the shock. As you can see from this article you are in the thoughts and prayers of Central Floridians:

Yup the UK is on a critical alert have never seen so many armed police and I live in a very rural area.

I was talking to GG Jr. yesterday about the Manchester attack and he said some skin-head kid who went to his middle school who had since moved to Tampa apparently converted into a crazy Islamic nut-job and killed two people recently. I thought he was joking but I looked it up and it's true - see article below. My son said he could tell the dude was a nut-case even in middle school cuz the kid was talking about killing Jews and minorities back then. Crazy world!

There is a big difference betweeen a population of 350,000 of say tampa and 12,500 of Fort William in the highlands.

This has been a tragic event perpetrated by a gutless little turd with an overactive sense of injustice and a delusional idea of religion. The best response is to treat him with the contempt he deserves and to look after the families of the victims as best we can. The victims and their families are what matters and my thoughts are with the Mancunian community.

Too many bleeding hearts until their family is affected. This is a war with idealists in the minority. The only way to truly win any war is to annihilate or all but annihilate the enemy to the point they're starving and destitute with no options but surrender left i.e. Germany and Japan. The U. S. doesn't do a good job of that anymore. I'm tired of us thinking we can be the world's cop. It just gets our people killed while the enemy continues to thrive in the end. The only way to end a guerrilla war is to eliminate them which has never been done that I can think of. I guess Gingus Kahn knew what he was doing while it lasted. BTW, I've read more than once that 1 in 10 of us can be genetically traced back to him. He had a lot of women at his "disposal".

It's amazing that Khan lived to the age of 65 living in the 12th and 13th centuries (which I believe is the average age of VFR owners :beguiled: ).
