The first R3 I went to, they all took off to the bar before I got there. No one home when I arrived. Bastards. But they made up for it. Toe washed my bike!

No truer words have ever been spoken. That was back when the event was held earlier in the year and I rode through rain and all sorts of shit that time. If I recall, the bike was absolutely covered in volcanic dust from the ride through Sisqew Pass. The weather did not warm up and dry out until I got to Shasta. That's was a glorious moment.

I saw the pics from the slide. Its south of the goat trail. There are a lot of options still around including Taft.
