Possibly Parting out a 94VFR750

    If I decide to part out a rather good condition 94VFR750, wondering what would be the need for parts? i am located in the SanFernando Valley, southern California

    You could sell off the bodywork easily. I don't believe it is available anymore. A few 4th gens with cracked fairings, mine included. The rolling chassis and engine could be the basis of a streetfighter. Better than buying a wreck because you know the frame is straight.

    Any particular reason for parting it out instead of selling it whole?

    Right off the top I would be interested in the rear signal lights and wiring system
    As mentioned the body panels will sell well as well as probably forks rims etc
    If you are going down the part out road you should post a few pictures of the bike it will spark a lot more interest from the members

    It's not sporting to part-out a great bike for financial gain while someone would be wanting to ride it. :frown-new:

    Anyone who would prefer to cannibalize any VFR lacks a good character.

    ^ so true, what a poet. Total non sequitur here, have a baby monitor, when we watch the baby and a her head appears over the crib rail, me and the old lady say, "look its alien-head."
