 Got my "pinhole leaks", rust & right side dent repaired (a $300 job unfortunately but less than a new tank @ $649.12 + shipping). Took almost a month, & job was Xcellent, except...

Am ready to try resurrection start-up after 4 years this afternoon (no carbs cleaned out yet)... but I don't have a lifeguard & it's 90+ degrees, so I'm gonna wait 'til 2morrow to find out if starter is fried or not!

I just had my vf700f take de-rusted and double slimed. 135 bucks. Now I have to get rust out of filter, pump, and carbs...

I just love the color scheme on those VF1000's.

N would look same other way, no?

The N is not only upside down, it is the mirror image as well. The Honda should also be tapered shouldn't it? Should get larger with the red stripe getting larger..

    Hi bear,

You R so correct. I just had a look @ the before pic.

Will attempt to have right side panel done as a "freebie" where pinhole fuel drips ate paint off the white & fragged the red decal.

Your astute observation will help with that, my friend. I prolly would not have noticed. Many thanx!

PPM Cycles http://www.ppmcustom.com picked it up this aft since I was unable to get it started after 4 years (starter dragging & probably jets clogged as 2 of the 4 vacuum sliders were stuck... definitely clogged bystarter jets!
