The Sato Racing rearsets are 6 position adjustable Gator. Position 3 is the stock peg position setting.

I currently have the rearsets set to position 2.

Rode the blue beauty to a classic motorcycle event across the border ranges into Qld. Admired the most amazing motorcycles on show from the region. Met some terrific classic motorcycle enthusiasts and drooled over one bike in particular, a Vincent, that I'll never be able to afford, unless I win a lottery! Visitor numbers were in the thousands and most rode their bikes there as the oval sporting field had more motorcycles than I've ever seen in one location, parked on the grass. Then we dashed home trying to beat the setting sun and the inscects. I got hammered by bugs, while trying to see through them splattered on my visor, against glare from oncoming headlights, in the dark as I rode the last half an hour home.
Ahhh, I really enjoyed that ride. :eagerness:

Been working 6 10's for the last 4 weeks. Decided to take a much needed ride this morning before everyone woke up.

Only a quick 20 miles. It just sings above 6k. Beautiful

I randomly searched eBay and was finally able to purchase the L/R spacers for my passenger grab handles/pannier rack! Sometime next week I can finally ditch the ghetto red duct tape that is covering the gaps.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who can hardly wait to see the finished product. I know you've already painted the clutch cover, but maybe a clear window clutch cover from Sebspeed on VFRD might be in order as a later revision. Perhaps a polished pressure plate and some annodized washers for the clutch spring bolts ???

Took the Viffer out for a 50 mile jaunt to figure just how the Viffer is running with the Piper and 2Bro combo. At first I'd say down low it want just a tad of the enerichner, but after a good warm up it seems to be not needed. Now as far as the butt dyno goes, can't say much other than if it doesn't make more HPs, it surely gets up and goes. it pulls the Rs way faster, it went to 12.5 in a blink of an eye in 3rd 4th ran out of on ramp for 5th to be used in that way. so from that little get it up and go I'm happy. Now for the dyno on Tuesday to tell me just what is what. Now as the de-link went. OMG does this bike stop now, two fingers could flip you over if, stoppies shouldn't be a problem if so desired. On a side note here, I decided not to add the bridge line on the rear caliber and all is good, it has a better feel to it from before, and since prior when using the rear brake you where only using two pucks, so figured I'd try this first to see first hand if it worth the trouble to add the third puck, so far I'm not seeing the need, in fact I'm looking at what it's going to take to add the 8th gen caliber. All is Very Good.

Getting it back in shape for the dyno tomorrow. New plugs showed up, so while the tank was up I put the KN back in. Since I didn't have any idea how old the plugs where, per Mikes request change em, all though on a good note, they looked spot on, DSCF1029.jpg
But might as well install the new one as I have em right. And oh brother, rears are a snap, fronts not so much.
fwiw, since the Honda dealer here locally wanted $17 a piece and didn't have em in stock, then the other two dealers where close at $14 and $12 ea. , they too didn't have em in stock. smh.. a little research told me dude these aren't cheap as what I was thinking. nor in stock, weird. So found the Denso replacements at Dennis Kirk for a lot.... less.

Well I have rode the CBR1k track bike to work for 2 days. Put the mirrors and tag back on to make it mostly street legal though it still has slicks on. While it is fun with all that power to instantly put it wherever you want it is not really not a good commuter. Makes me really enjoy the ergo's of the VFR. And I like being able to really twist the throttle on the VFR. Twist even a little bit on the CBR and you looking at the sky and a big ticket. The stiff suspension on the CBR (full Ohlins) is not for the roads, it is set for the track and by the time I get to work I'm ready to get off it. The VFR is so much more comfortable.

The Club Plug looks like good prices, $1.50 less than I could find CBR plugs.

Went out and checked things, set the sag on the suspension, gave a few little twists here and there, gave it a good going over. All is looking good for the journey to R3
