Exhaust removal 03 Vtech

    Hey folks

    Want to remove the silencers for inspection and spray the pipes with UHT paint. From the pic it looks like there is no clamp holding this pipe into the belly section (I don't know what it's called maybe it's the catalytic converter?) - it's hardly just pushed in is it? Sealed with something ? Thanks - Martin

    There should be a clamp there. Yours is definitely missing the clamp! There should also be a thick gasket between the 2 pipes. Hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like yours is still there (if it is missing, the there will be a lot of movement between the 2 pipes). I would stick any kind of clamp you can find on there, until you can order the Honda clamp.
