Hi. I love the older VFR's and have come here to sulk. I learned to ride on a 1990 VFR 750, and now I'm spoiled. I recently decided to buy another one, and having trouble locating one, I settled for an F4i. Now that it was stolen, I am trying to find a 90-93 VFR, once again, and this time I have 18 pounds of Kryptonite chains and a chain anchor!
Just get a 5th gen and you will be happy as can be! LOL. BTW, you can find awesome deals on them too! Welcome to the board and turn that frown upside-down!
I'm in NC, and I am lookin' hard. I tried a 2000... man the sound was great. But is it just me, or did the bike gain a little weight? I know I have heard the 94-97 is the lightest one, but I really don't care for the styling. Gimme an old 90-93, and make it red with gold rims, please. I was just about to leave the house on Saturday to pick up a 1993 VFR 750 in pearl white with 10k miles on it for 3600 cash. And so I call the guy before I leave the house, and he says, "sorry, I sold it this morning." That didn't make me feel as bad as waking up and finding my CBR missing... but it was really close.
Awwhhhh mannnnn! Don't bash the looks of the Gen 4! Good luck finding another sale. Shouldn't be too hard. Who the hell has a VFR in North Carolina for 14 years and only puts 10,000 miles on it? Humans......sometimes I'll never understand.
Welcome to the group. Good luck in your search and Ihope you find a well taken care of machine. 93's rock! Crystal Pearl White. Whoooooooooooooooooooo
