Mufflers

I'm trying to find stock mufflers for '84 vfr750. Ebay has some rats but I wondered if any of you have a decent set collecting dust somewhere.

are these not the ones?

 

Going to be hard to find any decent ones, I took off my stock ones years ago for a Vance & Hines system. They had started to rust way back then. Condensation collects in them and they rust out.

 

Decent silencers are as rare as decent petrol tanks. Almost impossible to find. The only good ones seem to be attached to bikes with everything else in really good condition.

They ARE....but not wanting to throw $500 at something I can get cheaper and just re-coat

 

Will keep this as a resource if I ever go back, I would need the collector too.
