Arrow Race-Tech Slip-On for 2014 VFR800 DLX - Compatible with Panniers?

Looking to fit my new 2014 VFR800 DLX with a slip-on. I am considering the Arrow Race-Tech (click here for model) and am wondering if anyone knows if it will be compatible with the OEM saddlebags / panniers?

May I ask where you got the little silver wheel cap covering the center hole of your wheel (between the 5 lug nuts)? Mine did not come with one and I'd love to get one...

It's not a motorcycle part at all, I bought it on ebay from a building supplies site. It's a blanking plate for a toilet cistern! Over here they come with pre-cut holes so you can have the overflow exiting either side and blank off the side you don't use with one of these.

I've since bought a plain white one and sprayed it to (almost) match the wheel.

 

Hi,

I have the black Arrow Race-Tech with the carby end cap and it works with the panniers. I'll see if I can get a picture later today. It is a bit tight up top, but it clears the pannier and does not touch. Probably 1-2 cm of space between them.

Thank you for this and very nice bike/exhaust. The carbon looks great. I have a white bike and went for the Titanium with carbon tip. After seeing your pics, I am having some doubts!
