It looks like the Famous Anne Marie is going to ride through Utah! Who wants in!

Calling all generations! Who has free time to meet up with Anne Marie and me in Zion's area of Utah between May 21st and the 23rd, possibly the 24th? I am waiting on her Iteneray and travel dates. But if this works out who is in?

 

I'll see you both at R3. I'll be in Zion on July 5th. Visiting the park all day, staying the night then riding to Denver. Meeting up with my brother and Mofo and riding to Montana. Wish y'all could come with!!!

 

No idea what Ann has in mind, but I know a road or two in Utah that are a must.

 

If I end up coming to R3 ... I'll likely be passing through there right about that time coming from a stay in Bozeman, MT where I'm staying with a friend, but yeah nahhhhh .... I might try and meet up with the 'famous' Lauren Trantham from Ride my Road if I can get far enough West on the way back in the time I have allotted.

I don't know. I used to live in Bigfork, my dad still does. I'll be riding with he and my brother.
I only had an old two stroke Enduro when I lived there, so I stuck to all of the dirt mountain roads around Ferndale. My dad has a lot of rides planned for us. Not sure where to.

Kalispell country, nice, wouldn't have thought you where from there, being first impression I saw was big town sorta guy. Hmm so you might be taking 15 north just to make good time. Yea, there's some good back country roads up in them neck of the woods.

 

I'm sorta from all over the Western US. I moved around a bunch when I was a kid. I lived in Bigfork for 11 years, 1999-2010. I'm down in SoCal now. But I'm looking at possibly moving out of this Looney state. My body is here, but my heart is elsewhere.

I'll be coming up from Denver, as I'm meeting my brother there and riding North.

A.M., need any ride recommendations around Phoenix?? Try route 88 from Apache Junction to Canyon Lake and beyond to Tortilla Flat, a curvy, sometimes too-sandy road with every type of turn and elevation change. Very scenic but with no guardrails and 1000' cliff dropoffs just to keep your attention focused !




Try the road to Bartlett Lake, just north, and Mosquito Cove, not to be missed, where this romantic photo, along with others, was made.

 

I hope all these scenic and technically interesting roads can match up to aisle 4 at my local Wal*Mart.
