It’s a great article and very relatable. Although what he says about his VFR hits a bit too close to home for me.

“… I can’t come anywhere near using its potential, which sometimes makes me feel a bit of a poser, and I’m at an age (and weight) where I look so silly riding it that I avoid passing large store windows in case I happen to see my reflection”

Haha.

Well I couldn’t afford a bike like this when I was young and skinny, but I will try to enjoy the hell out of it now!

I'm the exact opposite - sometimes I go out of my way just so I can catch a reflection in a window

 

You just posed for that picture before putting your riding gear on, right? And because you had a girl there with long, lean, lanky, luscious legs.
