So far I have ~1,000 street miles and 60 track miles on these tires.

I took the VFR with me to Thunderhill Raceway yesterday to have the new Ohlins tuned with the bike at the track. The tires handled very predictably and I was getting decent lap times (2:19-2:22). I had Dave Moss tune the bike. Then in the afternoon I scared the bejesus out of myself jumping onto the CBR1000RR. The VFR is VERY well mannered when pushed hard. It makes going super fast very effortless. :loyal:

I could give more information on the set-up if anyone is interested. With my set, I ran 31 rear and 35 front at the track and the wear pattern is perfect.

Have people worked out which version the VFR should have, read on a R1200RS forum Metzeler recommend they have normal front with HWM rear though their website as far as I can tell doesn't specify.

As the VFR is about the same weight as R1200RS is it also considered a "Heavy Weight Motorcycle" and does anyone have the HWM version or have most gone with the standard Roadtec 01's on their VFR ?
