2017 R3 - Reggie's Roadhouse Roundup Memorial Day Weekend (May 27,28)

Count me in. I am going to try my 3rd and last attempt at the border to border SOLO again this year on my way down. My apologies to those who may have wanted to join me on that part of the trip, but this is a bucket list thing. I will be doing this part alone this time as this is my last go at it. Then, that's enough of the foolishness prove nothing rides.

I was initially wanting to cross over to Texas and up to Winnipeg and back but I have had to pare down the trip a lot so it is going to be Mexico, R3 and then right back. I am taking it easy riding back this time though. The following weekend I may spend in the Seattle area.

I am going to take some of the money I was going to spend on the extended journey and make a stop at Rich's in the Seattle are and get a new seat built. I suspect he is not open on Weekends so I will have to make an appointment with him for the following Monday I guess. That gives me a little grace time so I can stick around to clean up the mess I help make.

Think I will pack much lighter this time though. I won't be bringing tent and camping stuff. Sleeping bag will be about it. Maybe the air mattress too so all I will need corner of the floor that is impervious to vomit and piddle and I should be good. While down there I might buy myself a new suit. Mine is getting quite worn so time for a new one maybe.

LOL I did that once...not on purpose though!

 

Now that my graphics guy is all better, I can get him involved. Let me know, he's been eager to do another shirt.

I'll be there. I'm bringing a sleeping bag. Last year, the air mattress went flat at night. Too funny.
