    I would definitely prefer the boot as well. I just don't think there is enough protection in the lower shoe or ankle boot if you go down. I suspect a boot will likely be in their future. I will sure watch for that. I have seen other light systems that are kinda geekish but this one bypasses the geek meter in my mind.

    Yea, I was thinking boot as well, thing is this last year I got a new mid boot, if you can call it a boot, with pants over the top you can't tell if it's a boot or not, that I wore more just because they're easier to deal with. but there's room for a replacement for my older Sidi walkers, which are nothing other than a high top sneaker made out of leather with a soul for shifting and braking while not looking like a GT boot, which are just about worn out. We'll see, those are pretty trick.
