They should have 2-stroke scented air fresheners....

NICE! I can just imagine the smell of Cator oil and race fuel wafting by. Delicious! Sounds great too, but not quite as good as a pair of V6 drag outboards. IMO.

One of my riding buddies has a mate with 3 complete fuel injected 2 stroke Bimota V-Due V twin 500s as well as all the specialised equipment required to maintain them, they were a mad bike in their day.

In 1996-97, Bimota was set to introduce a new machine that would revolutionize sport bikes. It would be an unstoppable, razor sharp 500cc two-stroke that would give 1000cc four strokes a run for their money, in a time when it appeared that two-strokes were on their way to the boneyard. There was a lot of excitement brewing around the forthcoming V-Due (literally, V-twin) - not only because of the mouth-watering specs and the fact it was being built by one of motorcycling's most legendary boutique marques, but also because it promised to fix the "problem" that two stroke road bikes were facing.

"The Honda NSR500 is a race motorcycle from the Honda NSR series. It was created by HRC (Honda Racing Corporation) and debuted in 1984 for the Grand Prix motorcycle racing's 500*cc class. Honda won ten 500cc World Championships with the NSR500 from 1984 to present, six in a row 1994 to 1999. With more than 100 wins to its credit, the NSR500 is the most dominant force in modern Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The 1989 NSR500 that won Honda's third 500 World Championship with Eddie Lawson exemplifies the overwhelming power, acceleration and raw speed that has always been synonymous with Honda's 500*cc two-stroke V4."

Wayne Gardner won the 1987 World Chamionship on a 500cc NSR, I remember riding an XR75 on a dirt track locals had built on a paddock behind our High School in the mid '70s before being lapped many times by a faster older boy, when asked who he was found it was Wayne Gardner. Below image of him on the track behind our school from my signed copy of his 1990 book " Gardner a dream come true "

If the red necks find out that they can ingest castor oil to relieve constipation it might revive the whole lighting of your farts thing!
I did like that one dudes idea of putting the Castror R in the lawn mower though.

Usurping Southern traditions is not a good idea. ...and yes Virginia, there are a shitload of vids on the subject including some good ol girls.

Maybe somebody has a favorite tune to share that is fitting.

That same aroma can be found at dragstrips. Kind of nifty with gassers but the mix of Castrol R and nitro ain't. Pro flat trackers and Speedway riders still use the stuff. Back in the day, a few cc in the gas tank on carbureted engines would produce that unmistakable odor. Another instant hot shit item at bike nights and harleydoodfests.

That is a great little bike. I posted an article on it last year and thought it would be a TT killing machine.
I sadly sold my 1975 RD 350 a little while ago. I do still have a CR 250 that sounds and smells wonderful.
