I bet after some of those landings that hit the cutting room floor those dudes on the bikes didn't make it with the chicas.
I didn't make it to the end, but that's some fun footage. I like to imagine all the time the girls went through in makeup and hair, getting the wardrobe just right, so that that car could pull up and cover them top to tail in dirt. I notice they were smart enough to get the shots of wiping the windshield beforehand -- everything is clean and there is no dust in the air -- but for fun Imma pretend they dusted the models first thing.
I think they spent quite a bit on this. They filmed from a helicopter, have two dozen stunt riders in addition to their star endorsers, plus all the vehicles and associated crews. Them's not cheap cars to run and those stunts with the bikes jumping the dunes and the car racing beneath don't happen in one shot without a lot of coordination and practice. Definitely not low budget.
You realize that you cost me a half hour of time that *might* have been productive, don't you? Of course I had to watch the whole thing, even the credits footage, and then go and watch versions 1 and 2. Dammit. :chaingun: duccmann :wedgie: :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::wave:
I wish. Doing installs so I have to concentrate heavily, then wait like 5 minutes where nothing happens, then back to concentrating heavily. Can't even take long enough to watch all the way through a 5 minute video, but I still have to sit long enough I'm looking for distractions. I am very happy to have good work, but I hate testing the installer.
Yeah, I cut away. I have it saved to watch tonight as I KNOW I'll end up going down a rabbit hole if I really get to enjoying it. OK, back to work.

Guy was crazy, even went inside stage 12 where they do the Voice and did a shit load of donuts. Funny thing is he tore up the whole lower lot with rubber, they actually had to steam/power spray all of it off--- took two weeks.
