RVFR. A good election should be close. If it is not, then there was not a viable opposition and that can lead to tyrant. We need hard fought elections. But I feel this one, one both sides of the political spectrum, was down right immature. And really, with what is going on today in the world, that is really sad.

As an outside, I have noticed that political affiliations in the USA goes from cradle to grave. Once a Republican, always a Republican, regardless of the issues. Same for Democrats. This affiliation also seems to be strongly entrenched in the family.

We tend to favour a party for the most part but not nearly as staunch as my friends and family down there. I have swung from one party to the next at both the Provincial level and Federal level, depending on the stance taken by the candidates and the platform of the present party. I do believe that party support does not run along family lines much at all. I don't know how my wife voted. I never asked. I never suggested to her how I felt she should. And visa versa. I refuse to place a political sign on my yard because it would insinuate everyone living in my home follows the same party lines. That may not be true at all.

Now for far more important things. My wife just called me for dinner. Spaghetti and Italian hot sausage.

Probably so. I think it would be more an appointed position since the Trump Dynasty is all for democratic democracy in the style to which we should become accustomed. The title might not be President but more along the lines of "El Chingon , HMFIC, Great Leader Jr. or even Unterfuhrer. Fuhrer would be doubtful and probably already spoken for.

What? Where in the hell did you hear that? Man, it just HAS to be Fake News. If I even remotely thought it might be true, I'd cross the border tomorrow, just to see for myself! I call *Bullshit* :potstir:

Well, that sounds reasonable to me. I'd have been a likely ally for ya, but after the above bit, you'll have to win me back. :biggrin-new:

Forgetting about all the political bullshit back and forth, all I hope for is that the man achieves some of the things he says he will because at the end of the day America needs to be a strong and powerful nation, the world depends on it. Can you imagine what the world would be like without America being a powerhouse

Do ya have any videos of you wasting these bad guys. Do you have any RPGs or mortars you can spare? I'm looking for some flashbangs too. Those work better than ball bearings on tailgaters.

Through the whole election process and all, NOBODY ever asked the question"What makes America great again". NOBODY every offered an explanation of "What makes America great again".

So these next four years are going to be very interesting. So "What does make America great again?" Inquiring minds want to know.

Randy hows the housing market in Chilliwack? Expensive or cheap?

Well for one thing, the Middle East would be one hell of a lot more stable than it has been for the last few decades.....

I love my country. But the leadership/elites have screwed up many parts of the world for no better reason than to line the pockets of themselves and their cronies. Power can be used for good, very often it is employed otherwise.

The refusal based on the intention of protest may be a legitimate reason to refuse entry but there have been other media reports that say they were refused based only on the person's admitted political affiliations. There are dozens of different media sources but you can research this as easy as I can. I would appear this is being applied to non Americans.

As far as the second part, I was just kidding. I swear far to fucking much in public forums to become a a fucking politician down there. Here too for that matter.

Saying there is fake news is fake news. What is real are alternative facts as a matter of fact.

Expensive. My assessed value went up 30% last year. And we don't come close to being as expensive as the greater Vancouver are where the average house on very small lots run just over a million. Chilliwack comparatively is a steal at 410K. Mine comes in higher than that at the assessed value which is considerably less than the market value. But mine is a 4 bedroom and both my kids are gone so I will rent you a room for 750.00 a month, no board. Room in the garage for your bike when I am not building sawdust, but your car goes on the street.

Riding, I'm not sure you can blame America for the shit that goes on in the middle east,, oil probably doesn't help, but the joint was a shitheap before Columbus sailed to America. If history is correct, King Richard was over there fighting the Crusades long before they ever discovered America

Whilst I don't think Trump was the best choice (rich coming from someone who lives in a country that voted for Jacob Zuma) some good may come of it. It would appear that, once in power most presidents quickly realise that the whole thing is a farce and the real power is in fact in the hands of big business, the media, military ect. If Trump is able to break that system (for better or worse) it could set a pecedent for those that follow.

What a mix. Lead singer of rock wearing a caboi hat, other wearing ball caps. Ruffles shirts on one with a tie on another and even a turtle neck on a third. Mega boy bangs and bushy jaw chops. Ah yes...the 60's. If I were any older, I would not remember them.
