If you got the cash to play, why wouldn't you? People that can afford supercars and race replica superbikes aren't uniquely qualified to operate them, but they can also afford the right people to help them enjoy them.

Honda isn't worried about the market and the wants and needs of the consumer don't really matter.

Funny, they have no problem building a 200k sports/Eco
Car, but not a 30k motorcycle.

Most VFR riders can't get everything out of their ~100hp VFR's. The Aprilia would just be a novelty.

At 18k the 2017 Aprilia RSV4 R FW-SSTK1 is the ticket for mere mortals. Thet is actually a great deal. Even with this lower priced package you still get corner by corner programming, Akra and that V4!

Another 7K would get a Harley with fewer moving parts.

The article claims the one you can BUY, the normal one, still has the pneumatic valves. Anyone know if that's actually true? I don't believe anyone has ever released a GP replica type bike with the pneumatic valving left in place. Even the bonkers bazillion dollar Honda one has it replaced with standard mechanically actuated/spring returned valves. If this is true, god only knows what this thing might rev to - maybe in the neighborhood of 20k?

Anybody can buy one of those bikes if they have the cash. But I doubt you can buy a service manual for it. Classified information. Got to take it to the dealer.:sorry: LOL

On 2nd thought, you couldn't take it to a dealer. Would you trust those guys. Most likely have to send it to a factory shop with engineers like the ones who build them. Or a caliber there of.
