Well, im neither new to owning a VFR (had mine for 6 months now) nor am i new to this site (been here since i got the bike) but I havent posted anything, ever? possibly. I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is jeremy, and i have a 2006 pearl white vfr that now has a safetygraphix.com graphics system on it, and a laser deeptone exhaust slip-on exhaust. i have pics of the bike on here somewhere, dunno how to get them in this thread, but they are there. hope you enjoy looking at my bike as much as i enjoy riding the thing. these bikes really are amazing, and i love mine! well, thanks for having such a great site, and i look forward to more great conversations and you guys have great info here!

    Jeremy

Which ZRX is it? the 1100 or the 1200?? both are nice bikes, and they are very very comfortable, not unlike the VFR.. they arent the fastest bikes in the world, and one that we had for sale had a bent shift lever, so it wouldnt come out of first gear, but they have tons of underseat storage, and although not very popular color choices (the green like you mentioned, and ive seen them in purple also) i liked the bike overall. an FZ1 or new Z1000 would walk alll over a zrex though..

Jeremy: Nice ride, I've had my 06 Pearl White a couple weeks now, its a great bike and a lot of fun to ride. I'm installing aftermarket exhaust, K$N air filter and Power Commander this weekend. Also going with Factory hard bags.

Good luck with your ride and you've come to the right place for VFR info.

    Steve

Thanks everybody for your warm welcome.

steve, what kind of pipes are you going with?? and with the power commander are you going to install the o2 sensor dummies? they are available from power commander for like 15 bucks or something cheap, and i hear they are supposed to help the bike a lot at lower rpm's. and the factory hard bags are sweet, but man they are expensive..

Was looking @ an 1100, had been repainted a charcol grey metallic w/ no decals looked really cool. Had 4,000 miles on it could have had for $3500 thought about it a day to long:frown: & it was gone. Reminds me a bigger version of the CB700S I had, I have developed a strong liking of the naked cafe style bikes as of late.

tbones, I hae always had a liking for the naked cafe style bikes, my favorite new bike being the 07 kawi Z1000. that would have been a great deal for the Zrex, but that sucks that its gone already. Another one will come though.

Do you have any sound clips of that exhaust system? Where did you get it, and how does it perform?

I dont have any sound clips of my exhaust, but there is one on youtube.com i believe i searched vfr800 laser exhaust, it sounds great, though. i got it from a distributor in wisconsin i think, but i became a dealer for it at my shop so i can get it for just about anything now. it made the throttle response more crisp and the vtec transission more noticeable only because of the sound. all in all, i love it!!!

I found that one, but I can't access youtube at work and don't have internet at home. You're a distributor huh? Can you pm me with an idea of what a good price would be? There is a dealer in Dayton, OH, but I'd rather deal with someone I know.

Those graphics look very cool. Don't like the VFR logo too much, but the Honda wing is sweet. Also that exhaust is f'ing awesome! I hope it sounds as good as it looks! I have never seen that system before. Looks like the MV Agusta F4-1000R or F4CC (my dream bike!).
