VF400F questions

Hi, I have a 1983 vf400f. I am having trouble finding a service manual and need one if someone has one they can send me. I am using a vf500f manual as I think they are pretty much the same apart from the engine.

Can anyone tell me though if the fork oil levels are the same on the 400 as the 500. Changing the seals so I need the info.

Hi gents and thanks for the replies. Ended up just using the amounts specified for the 500. So far so good. used 10wieght oil and 320cc in the right and 335cc in the left. feels heaps better now.

The right amount is 300cc in the left one and 285cc in the right one.
