    Funny, just last month I got my (new to me) '99 VFR800 due to the same situation:

    The prior owner was selling because his SO didn't want to ride pillion "up-high" any more. When I went to look at (and buy) his '99 VFR there was a brand-new CB1100 sitting in the garage.

    Some parents now a days do not know exactly the current gender choice of their children and are dropping all references but the numbers.
