Just picked up a repo 2004 VFR (non-ABS) with less than 800 miles, it didn't have owners manual and I need maintenance schedule. The gas in tank is pretty cloudy, so will have to dump it and change oil ASAP. Is there anywhere on this site I can download the owners manual for a 2004? I did grab the 2002 service manual from downloads section. I'm really excited to have this new machine. Have been riding 35 years and this is bike number 12.

I think the 02 is the newest we have right now. I'll check with Michael and see. I like having a paper copy myself. It seems easier to find stuff to me and I dont get grease in the keyboard... :)

Welcome Jonny. I bought an '03 a few months ago that didn't have the owners manual. One of the first web sites I found while looking for hte same information was the Honda owners link.

    https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?logout=1

You will have to register (free) and put in the info for your bike, but it will supply you with the maintanence scehdule.

    Well Duh!

Thanks for the Owner Link reminder. I only have 2 cars and a van registered there. Never thought about the fact you could register your bike there. Guess I've been riding Kawis too long!

Man, those trim clips are a pain in the ass! I was planning on a quick oil change and a ride today. Maybe I'll get it back together to ride tomorrow. Dang. The service manual says "Push the center of the trim clip pin" then "Remove the clip". Wow, that sounds so simple. What am I doing wrong? It seems the last owner busted 1/2 of the clips and I'm on my way to busting the other 1/2. Saw the tips in the maint. section about Saturn clips, etc. Will make a quick run to the auto parts store before they close tonight and hope they have something that will hold the pieces together.

Does it give a Saturn part number? I'm the parts manager at a Saturn dealer. Just wondering if I stock them.
