H' mmm depicting Chuck as a seriel killer shooting random civilians doesn't seem funny to me, the cheesiness of portraying him being super tough, indestructable good guy beatinging up evil paper people is the preferred cliche.

Perhaps I'm seeing it in a different light as none of those people shown as being murdered by Chuck was funny to me, a bong noise as they fell over is one thing but human civilians going about their normal life coldly shot is another.

 

The duck is the Actual Advice mallard. I've seen arguing over all kinds of pedantic shit about these images on the Reddit, and usually amongst people who aren't even smart enough to know that the "meme" part of all of this isn't the picture with words, it's the fact that people learn that the mallard means advice by word of mouth, or the fact that people read these because they're emailed and posted by friends where they get passed along.

My take is that someone is so big into advice animals they think everyone knows the rules of their "memes" and they didn't even think about writing pigeon over a picture of a duck. The duck just symbolizes giving good advice. Duh.

And I originally heard this joke in terms of arguing in the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still a retard.

 

Perhaps seeing the ninja in this video as Chuck Norris would be better for you...

Even though the inflicted pain is simulated as deliberate rather than just the regular stupid clumsy videos invoking an empathetic pain to the viewer there is some clevernous about the Ninja one, mind a little Schadenfreude is one thing the Chuck one crossed a line.

 

You know, the internet is a bit like movies, not everything you see is real........

 

Of course its not real hence using the words " none of those people shown as being murdered by Chuck was funny to me " but perhaps I'm seeing the horror it is depicting differently than others.

Going onto the Ninja one, wittingly or unwittingly there is some Japanese folklore that makes it interesting and that is there are mischievous spirits called Yokai that go out of their way to trip up or otherwise cause trouble to humans as those fans of Japanese Anime understand or an example of which is mooted to be written in the Japlish version of Hondas 1962 handbook as number 5) on how to ride motorcycles.
