Yep, old school is definitely better if you're over 60, er, mph that is layful: But the 8th gen is almost half a second quicker 0 to 60 (3.0 v. 3.4) because we're tuned for more low end torque supposedly. Thus, new school > old school for most speed legal applications eaceful: Admit it Lint, you're just jealous of our self-cancelling turn signals so you're trying to pick a fight!

0-60 in 2.4 ?, outstanding considering even the Hayabusa is 2.7 seconds and the huge improvements in tire traction either that or they were using "mississippis" as their timing method.

For some reason quoted 0-60 times for VFRs seem a bit variable, I've read a UK mag test the Gen 5s at 3.29 at a dragstrip, think all the 800s would be very close given weight vs HP.
