I made chile for my technians today...

    2 beef roast, crocked for a day. 7 pounds of roasted and peeled green chile (bought fresh from grower, roasted on site), 2 cloves of garlic, 6 pounds of potatoes, 10 carrots, 20 mushrooms, a huger onion, some blended habenaro and jalapeƱo peppers, 3 tomatoes, crushed peppercorns, crushed sea salt.

    Umm, yeah what he said. Nothing like Texas Chili that's for sure. Reminds me of a phrase in a classic tv commercial, "get a rope!" :tongue:

    MMMMMMMMMMMM green chili stew (in my best Homer voice). In ABQ a lot of people refer to that as chili. Not what I usually think of as chili but very good none the less.

    In Tucson we call that "soup". LOL

    Chile is chunks of beef, red chile, onion and garlic!

    Call your soup what you want, I'm bringing a bowl, a spoon, and a quart of Carte Blanca. :painkiller:

    How big a pot did you put all that in? a washtub? man, I'd like to get a taste of that... I usually just make easy chili. the kind with lots of bean and onions and meat and hot shit....
