I dig the vintage bikes as well. Would love to have a collection of both old and new.

I still miss my 6th Gen. My 5th is a hoot, but I still have a hollow spot that only the 6th can fill.

If that hollow spot becomes too much to bare let me know. I have been toying with the idea of letting go of my RWB. I wouldn't be giving it away by any means, but it has almost every farkle that you would want short of a steering dampener and a gps, and is truly a garage queen!:eagerness:

I'll keep it under consideration, for sure. Thinking back to last weekend, with how well my 72,400+ miles stock suspension bike did, chasing the Lamborghini Aventador through the canyons, I am really very very impressed that a stock sports touring bike did as well as it did. Cornered hard AF, and I even had the rear wheel up in the air a little slowing for turns. I mean, the bike performed so far above its pay grade, it's not even funny. I love love love the way it sounds and once I get a good suspension under it, it's going to positively tear the road up. Even running behind a $400k hyper car, that was being driven hard!, I still was putting on the brakes. On a freaking 1999 motorcycle!!! I feel like I'm being ungrateful for saying this, but the lines of the 6 th gen still pull at my heart, and I feel like I'm betraying my incredible 5th gen by saying that. Maybe it's the large glass of wine talking. Honestly, my 99 works phenomenally well. I guess I should just own a 6th too.

By the way, the Bridgestone T30 Evo tires kick major ass for sports touring tires. Even riding them HARD, they cornered like a cat on Velcro. I was running quite the pace behind that hypersports car and my tires were taking it in stride like I was riding in a school zone. Really really impressed with them. $280 out the door installed at Wheels In Motion, ride in, ride out. That includes 9% sales tax. I should get at least 6,000, to 6,500 out of the rear. I think I shall need a garage for multiple bikes...

Better late than never. Here's the "Garage Queen", sorry for so many pics, I really was trying to be selective. So farkles and details. Some were on the bike when I bought it. I'm the second owner. Sadly the po was killed on one of his other bikes so I never met him and didn't get any of this bikes details directly from him. Here's the goods -- Two Brothers exhaust, Power commander V, Oggie Knobs no cut frame sliders, eight spoke rear wheel, under fairing led lighting, hid low beams, Heli Bars, Grip puppy grips, heated grips, Seargent seat w/white welt, carbon fiber over lay on the triple clamp and gauge cluster, fender eliminator w/carbon fiber license plate surround, Shorai lithium battery, switched accessory fuse block, rear shock from an abs model with remote preload adjustment, front and rear suspension valved and re-sprung (also low stiction fork seals) by Daugherty Motor Sports, and factory blue panniers with liners.
The little girl in the one pic is my neighbors 4 year old, her name is Ada and she is just flippin adorable IMO.
The bike is nearly perfect in every respect, has always been garage kept here in the San Diego area, is NEVER washed with soap and water, only cleaned with spray detailer. I hate to let it go because I know that I will never have another one like it, but it seems a shame (some guilt here) that it doesn't get ridden much. My Pikes Peak Multistrada slut has lured me away it seems. $6,000 for the Interceptor.
