Don't know what was in there. It was probably old and been sitting long time. I replaced with Honda blue stuff that comes premixed 50-50. Next time I will use some Acura stuff I can get for free. High quality stuff, no silicas etc..

"Stored" my bike today. I mean that I cleared out a bunch of crap in the garage and there was room to take the cover off the bike and ride it inside. That's all I do to it. I take it out when I get the chance over the winter, even if I can get out for a half an hour every few weeks it sure helps with the PMS.

I got it from a reliable source that the 50-50 they put in Honda cars is the exact same stuff they put in Honda bikes. Just a different label on the packaging. Also a hell of a lot cheaper. Now. Acura is a high end Honda car so I bet the 50-50 the put in those is the same as they put in the cheaper Honda Civics. Food for thought.

Pulled mine out of the garage for a few days and going to let it sit in the rain. Teach it a lesson. Rain is supposed to let up tomorrow and I have appointments so might ride it instead of pedaling the Specialized.

I rode down to Long Beach for the Progressive International Motorcycle Show. Rain both ways. Part way there, all the way home. Ordered a Pinlock visor insert as soon as I got home. I had to keep my visor cracked a little and rain got in the visor. It was tough to see where I was going at times. The Bridgestone T30 tires worked well, but I babied them on turns. I'm nearly at the wear bars in the middle of the rear tire. I'll be getting a new rear soon. Front tires still has tread, but maybe I'll just get a set.

ETA: Frogg Toggs rain gear from Walmart kept me nice and dry, even tho it was sixty miles of rain coming home, with everything from stop and go, to 75ish mph in the wet. Gloves and boots are quite wet. I literally was able to wring water out of my socks... Everything covered by the Toggs was dry, save for some seepage on my jacket zipper. Cost all of $21.87 with tax. Nod to my brother for telling me. I just wore them over my leather, no restrictions or binding. The Toggs jacket has a hood, so I put the hood on and slid my helmet over. There are a couple of drawstrings that I cinched up to my chin. Voila, DryVille!

Those look great. I am still thinking about having mine done on the 2014. I don't like the Gold. Let me know if you don't mind the cost. It would be interesting to compare cost on getting mine done in Utah. Thanks.

The images on my videos are from two different cameras. The front POV is from a GorPro Hero2 and the rear camera POV is from an Innovv C3. Although the features and the capabilities of the GoPro seem to be a little better than some of the other offerings out there, there are a ton of other options. The rear camera I bought from a website that has plenty of action cameras to choose from, many are very similar the GoPro format (size, shape) and some are a bit different. I think with a little research and some web surfing you might find there are quite a few cameras that will do the job, at a much cheaper price than a GoPro, and most will do the same job, if not slightly less.

Here's where I got one of the SooCoo cameras and all of the Innovv Cameras. Gearbest Action Cameras Link Both of these cameras can also be found on Amazon and eBay if you feel better about shopping there.

To note, I actually have 3 different makes of cameras now. I have 1 GoPro Hero2, 2 Innovv C3s and 2 SooCoo S20Ws. Each have a slightly different form factor and their own unique setup. Since these last sets of videos were shot, I have taken the GoPro off of the front of my 5 Gen (side actually) and put an Innovv C3 camera in its place. So now I have 2 Innovv C3s on the 5 Gen (1 front and 1 rear) and on my 6 Gen I put the two SooCoo S20Ws on it (1 front, 1 rear) and then I put the GoPro on my Ducati. Rather than having to swap out cameras on each bike and in an effort to experiment a little, I decided to just do buy different cameras to try. For the price I paid (at the time) for the Innovv and SooCoo cameras, I would have to had spend a little bit more, just to get 1 of GoPro's current offerings. It seemed like a better way to go for me.

These are the form factors of the non GoPro cameras.

This is the Innovv C3. This is actually a 2 piece setup and the recorder portion can be mounted out of "harms way" as long as the camera lens cable can reach it from where you mount it.

This is the SooCoo S20W. It's water proof as-is.

That's what I have with the same results. I bought the biggest Frogg Toggs I could find at Wal-Mart and they go one over my Olympia riding suit. No muss no fuss. Yes to the hood. It keeps the water from flowing down your neck and back. The Olympia's internal water proof liner is a joke. Fieldsheer is coming out with a line of jackets where the water proof part is on the outside of a textile riding jacket. It's a good idea but the Frogg Toggs are cheap!

Each wheel complete for $115. I spec'd Stealth Charcoal from Prismatic Powders, which is a polyester-based powder. I didn't use a clearcoat because i wanted a flatter (subtle) finish.

Using the locator on the Prismatic Powders website, a number of applicators popped up for Utah:

Some applicators include a gallery, so you can see their past work right on the website.

Nelix, what is the spy alarm? Having just recovered my stolen VFR I am interested in preventing another theft.

Big_Jim59, Frogg Toggs are great! Cold and dry? Put 'em on! Raining? Put 'em on? They get grungy or ripped, throw 'em away and buy another set.

Putting on and removing the interior waterproof/windproof liner is a PITA!

There are GPS type devices that are very small and with the install of a phone app, you can track in real time where your Bicycle is. Can't see why you can't put that on a motorcycle. But I can't seem to find them on this side of the pond. They are available in the UK.

A lot of features on it I have not used. As we have HISS the remote start will not work. I also did not wire up the immobiliser as I believe the HISS is sufficient. At the moment I have not installed the microwave sensor, simply because as bikers we tend to look over others bikes. However I will play with the proximity sensor and probably put it on whilst bike is garaged over the winter. Very easy to install, only problem is that only the rear indicators are flashing on arm/disarm due to the way the self canceling works. I may wire it in so the indicator side lights at the front flash also though. Was only £45 and puts another layer of security on the bike.

By the time the day is over, I will have ridden it in the quiet hills and dales enjoying some peace and quiet in some fun curves and mountains. I'm addicted to that. That's my quality time.
