Hi. I'm new here. Just posting my new bike. I've had it for two weeks now. So far I've added Motopumps 1.25" bar risers and the Givi V35's on. I checked out the Honda panniers and I think they look better but I don't think the quality justifies the cost. IMHO the Givi cases are better quality and you can buy parts for them. The top box has about 125,000 miles on it. I've had it on a F4i and a 955 Sprint ST and it has held out well.

Hey Blackmax, Welcome to the WORLD.

Nice looking bike and personally I like looks of the Givi luggage. The black luggage goes well with the White/Black theme on the bike itself. Hopefully you enjoy as many miles on yours as the 70K I have enjoyed on mine.

The side cases are 34 liters each (Honda's are 29 liters). The top box is 52 liters (Honda's are 31 and 47 liters). The dimensions are about 16"X22"X12". I think the picture makes it look bigger.

When I'm on a bike run, I practically live out of the top case....wouldn't do a run without it. They might not look as good as the factory bags but I think the quality far exceeds the factory bags.

As far as the bike goes, the Givi's don't affect the handling in a bad way. I still need to do a few things to this bike before taking it on a long run. One thing I would like to have is fatter hand grips. I think it would be more comfortable for long hauls. Also wish there were a MRA vario available for this model.

Welcome and thanks for sharing your photos!

When I get hard cases, I think I will end up with some black Givis for my moto too.
I came close to buying Honda ones, but I've heard a ton of happy folks with the Givi set up.

I want fatter grips too. I rode JB's moto and he has some heated grips that were fatter and cozy in even my small hands.
I think these are what he has:

Yisss...LOVE the MRA vario I put on my moto this summer.
Hope you can find something similar for your model.

    Welcome aboard, Blackmax!

Glad to see you finally making some posts!!! Beautiful bike you ended up with there!!
I run the Givi cases myself and love them. Very convenient and double as a cooler for ice and beer at camp. ;)

The ONLY reason I sold my cbr600rr for the vfr is so I can add a case! Riding to work is great with my gear because I have a place to lock all my stuff and have a change of shoes there but every where else I go is PITA.

Can you post links and price of your stuff? It looks great.

    I ordered from https://fortnine.ca/en/

I don't think it will do you any good because this is in Canada.

All I can say is I don't regret buying these. They work great and the quality is great. I've had lockable hard cases for quite a few years and am so used to them that I couldn't go without. Some times when I stop for a break, lunch or whatever and the foot traffic is high, I will put my tank bag and gps in the top case and lock it. Stuff like that can disappear in a blink of an eye so it's nice knowing it is locked. I can't say enough good things about them.

    Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I've only just picked up my new 8th generation and am now looking at the accessories/luggage to add to the bike.
I've got a 30L top box on my old bike, a Kawasaki ER-6n. I wouldn't mind stealing to put on the Honda, but the "Kawasaki" emblem on it might look a bit odd. :sour:

I just got the color matching factory bags for my new '14 Red VFR800F. I'll post pics and measurements later today.
